On 28th March, we learnt about setting up an account on WordPress. It was an interesting and fun experience. Having only a little experience with setting up a blog in VLE Frog, I would say that WordPress is quite user friendly. With the help of my lecturer and my classmates, I have learnt to create this blog, customize the theme and appearance, set up main bars, side bars and also posting. I also wanted to post something useful, so I did some reading on the related topic and learnt a lot from the reading.

However, maintaining a blog requires dedication, patience and time. We need to spend some time to keep it updated and to learn the way to operate around the blog. Not to mention, we also need to be patient when dealing with error or delay in the site when trying to send and update. Juggling between work and study, this has became a struggle for me.

Although there are restriction in creating this blog, I think that the advantages has out weight the disadvantages. I can now use this blog not only for the purpose of this assignment, but also to post any related teaching and learning materials which could be handy for my students. I also enjoy learning about creating this blog as this new experience give me an extra skill in ICT literacy.
